Like others, since 2.1, eve crash on startup screen after 20 secondes with.. no error
my system :
Ubuntu 7.04+Wine 9.41+Nvidia Drivers x86-100.14.11
Core 2 duo and GeForce 7600GT
Wine 9.41 + Eve 2.0 works fine with sound
Wine 9.41 + Eve 2.1 and now 2.1.1 crash
fixme:process:IsWow64Process (0xffffffff 0x33fc34) stub!
fixme:actctx:FindActCtxSectionStringW 00000000 (null) 2 L"msvcr80.dll" 0x347b2c
I attempt to make a new clean install with a fresh download client (thank's CCP for the speed of download ;)... same problem.
msvcr80.dll is not the problem...
Eve 2.0 works fine and there was the same error... so the problem is elsewhere...

open the logs i give in my last message.
is explain why that don't work, and the ball is in Eve dev... so we can cry for a long time

for who's can't open LogServer files, i put an screenshot of logs here :

I investigate logs...
there are translation error[FR] in script cargoview.py
then no module named in scripts ForumPortraitRenderer.py, photosvc.py, map2d.py and pricehistorychart.py
so problem with french version ? I attempt to run in US language but scratch

Hello, EVE works fine when...
I create a link to CCP directory of my Windows system in place of my CCP directory in my Linux system

if i run with my CCP directory installed with Linux, EVE Scratch
if I copy my windows CCP directory in my /home/user/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/ EVE scratch
if I create a link to windows CCP directory in my /home/user/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/ EVE run's
humm, so, we have a problem with system file... but that I don't understand is that before 2.1, my linux EVE directory works fine
